Friday David had dropped me off at home after taking me to go get a tool to tool to check my shims on my valve springs to make sure my rocker arms were all nice and leveled from Neiko who I can’t thank enough for trusting me with it. (we also had corkys for dinner) Okay yeah, so. David dropped me off, right? It was only like 9:30 pm I wasn’t tired and didn’t have anything to do. I figured I’d start pulling my valve cover and all that stuff off to get to checking everything/pull the lifters again. I pulled off the cover and looked at it for a few minutes then went over to my tool box and found some spray paint and got a little distracted…..
I thought it need a little freshening up….
I let it dry and took it with me to work so I can stand the paint off the NISSAN and TWIN CAM 16 VALVE
All in all I’m pretty stoked on how it came out!
Superbowl Sunday was cool. David came over and we worked on the Z while my Dad grilled and sisters made other numerous things to snack and eat. Also the dogs were stoked as well…..
I didn’t take really any pictures while pulling and measuring everything on the Z seeing as I already made a post about it hahah
BUT make sure your timing marks are always correct first! hahaha
I probably should have done a write up. Oh well. After soaking them in Diesel fuel as I was suggested by a friend. Then I bled them in Rotella oil again and popped them back in and just finger tightened everything. Gonna torque everything today and hope for the best.
Around 7:30 we headed over to Davids so Arlynna could me us there and we could go down to Chula Vista (San Diego) for some Tacos El Gordo to celebrate David being able to eat normally again since the stitches he had put in his gum and Arlynna getting her tax return. I just went for tacos hahahahaha
